Put DCYC 2019 information in your parish bulletin and on your ministry website. Include the DCYC website (www.dcycdallas.org) where they can find out more about our keynote speakers and band and all the activities and breakout sessions offered.
Actively involve your teens in planning for DCYC.
Engage your teens in fundraising for DCYC so that the group works together to make attendance possible for all those in your parish who want to attend. This also invites your whole parish to contribute to giving your teens an awesome faith-filled experience.
On January 8, 2019, the DCYC mobile app will be available to youth and adults. (Find it in your device’s app store under DCYC 2019.) The app has a wealth of information about the conference. Encourage your group to download it and begin to customize their DCYC experience.
Encourage teens to follow DCYC on our website at www.dcycdallas.com and on social media at:
Facebook: Dallas Catholic Youth Conference
Tell teens about these two great opportunities for them to be a part of DCYC:
DCYC Film Fest - Parish groups can submit a 3 to 5-minute film based on our theme of “Restored.” The winning parish entry will have their film played at the final DCYC General Session on Sunday, February 17th, where our very special guest, Bishop Edward Burns will join us for our Closing Liturgy. (Details coming soon!)
DCYC Glass Acts - Teens with musical gifts are encouraged to audition to perform on our 2019 Glass Acts Stage. (Details coming soon!).
Let parents know that they are invited to be a part of DCYC also by volunteering at the conference and share with them the link to the Volunteer Sign-Up page when it becomes available.
